​JANA OLIVER never planned to become an author. In fact, she told her sixth grade teacher she wanted to be an international spy, which sounded very cool at the time.

That so didn't happen.

After pursuing various careers (registered nurse, disc jockey, travel agent, copywriter) someone flipped a switch in her brain and stories began to pour out. There were so many stories she decided to write them down and publish them. Then someone else published them,  in the U.S. and then all over the world.

A few years down the line she's an international bestselling author with over twenty books to her credit, and  has won over a dozen major writing awards, including the Maggie Award of Excellence, the Daphne du Maurier, National Readers Choice and the Prism Award.

In the Demon Trappers series, Riley Blackthorne, the city's first female trapper, takes on a host of fiends and their diabolical master, the Prince of Hell himself. This series has spread across the globe, with editions in ten countries, including Russia, Taiwan, Germany, France and the United Kingdom. 

Since she's *never* forgotten wanting to be a spy, Jana also writes high octane suspense thrillers (Veritas Series), allowing her to research such fun topics as C-4 explosives, biological weapons, military snipers, and Russian drug cartels. Go figure.

Nowadays she can be found writing her tales in Portugal when not sharing time with her very patient husband, and their cranky (ghost) Feline Overlord, Ms. Dali.
