To help readers figure out the proper reading order here's the list, including the short stories. The new U.S. editions and the U.K. editions now have the same titles.

Hi!
Okay — The book I have listed as ALL SOULS isn’t out yet. And THANK YOU because that is a typo — it’s actually LOST SOULS (I originally had thought to name it ALL SOULS and changed it.) That book should be published sometime in spring 2021. Yet another thing I should mention on this reading list because it does look like the book has already been published.

PERSONAL DEMONS is included in the book GRAVE MATTERS. I’ll also be posting it on the blog sometime this next week for those who haven’t bought that book. RETRO DEMONOLOGY is also included in that book.

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS hasn’t been posted yet (I was going to save it for the holiday) but I might as well do that tomorrow. So look for it on the blog.

Thank you for asking these questions! I’ll tidy a few things up.

J'ai lu les tomes 1 et 2 de devil city. Je souhaite la suite car les livres m'ont beaucoup plu mais le tome 3 n'a pas encore été traduit en français. Pensez vous qu il le sera un jour et surtout quand ? De plus je crois que la série est en 5 volumes ?

Bonjour!

Merci d'avoir posé des questions sur les traductions françaises. Malheureusement, mon éditeur français a décidé de ne pas continuer à publier la série, le reste des livres ne sera donc pas disponible en français. Je suis vraiment désolé!

Je m'excuse également d'utiliser Google Traduction, car mes compétences en français au lycée se sont estompées au fil des ans.

Well I was wondering the role models for charcters.. so.. I think Ian Somerhalder fits Ori, and Christian Bale for Sartael.. and perhaps Ewan McGregor for Lucifer.. and.. Ian McDiarmid for Master Harper. Wel what do you think, Jana?

Well.. i was asking.. do their face characteristics match the characters.. for ex.. Ian from Vampire diaries lead char.. and Christen Bale from batman.. ewan mcgregor from Star wars Obi wan, and lastly Ian mcdiarmid from star wars as Palpatine.. well i was just asking 🙌.. i think they suit pretty well.. look them up.

Is from hell with love a book or just on your blog, ive read all the book, and got lost souls today which I can't wait to get stuck into. But was hoping from hell with love was printed and not just in blog form to complete the set, plus I find books easier to read.

I've just peeked and seen, very happy now ... I'm 42 but I've totally been hooked with Riley and Beck, I've read all the books Barring lost souls in 5 weeks lol, im dyslexic and I love them. Thank you for getting me hooked into reading again and now deciding on what saga to get into next

Thank you for reading my books! I'm so happy you're enjoying them. If you're fond of Urban Fantasy stories like mine, I'd recommend Ilona Andrews' Kate Daniels series. They were the catalyst for my books and are set in an even creepier Atlanta. The first book is MAGIC BITES and the series is complete (10 books I believe plus a number of novellas). These books are on my Keeper shelf and reread the entire series once a year.

Amazon sells the print editions as well. Book Despository also offers print editions of some of the books. It all depends on the "territory" if I can legally sell them or not.

I know I’m late to the party but wanted to give you the praise you so well deserve, your books are amazing! And you have a beautiful mind!
I first started reading your first book (The Demon Trapper’s Daughter as I’ll always call it lol) when I won an advanced reader’s edition from Goodreads, I was soo hooked I went and bought the next 3 books to the series as soon as I possibly could (which at the time was all that was out). About a month ago I decided to reread through your wonderful series thinking I had the whole collection and was then pleasantly and excitedly surprised to find you had 4 more books! I ordered them immediately and went through the whole story again, again it’s absolutely amazing! I don’t think I can express how much I loved it honestly lol
However I was super curious if you have planned on continuing with the demon trappers stories by the way the last book, lost souls, left open a few things? (such as the fae-like creature at the TrapperCon)

Thank you so much! I'm glad you found the newer books. At one time I was sure I was done at #4 but the characters shook their heads and continued 'talking' to me.

The next book (BITTER MAGIC) will be out this summer. It's written and I'm currently editing it. It's Katia's story and so we get to see more of what's up with her and that mysterious fae-like creature from LOST SOULS.

I anticipate there will be one more book beyond BITTER MAGIC so I can wrap things up. And probably some short stories every now and then. I'll be sure to tote those publications on my blog.

Hi,

I have read these books (to be precise the first four books) when I was a teenager. I have even re-read them multiple times because I loved them soo much. I love the characters, the story and especially the world.

After reading the fourth book, what coincidently was at the same time as the second Thor movie, I hung up a Thor poster (which was in a magazine that I was subscribed to at the time) in my bedroom. Because in the fourth book when they clean Sadie’s house it is mentioned that Beck had one hanging in his childhood room. This poster even moved with me into my student housing and is now hanging there for over ten years.

However, I was reading them in German and was really disappointed when I could get the rest in German. I always looked what new books were coming out and just couldn’t get them, but I was re-reading the first four a few times. But now I finally got all 7 books in English and started reading them all (currently on Grave Matters).

I needed to get the first few also in English (I already have the four German ones), because it is weird switching languages between books, also it looks better. And I came here to look which one is the sixth book and what short stories I needed to read before that one and then I see there is a ninth book coming. And omg I am soo excited. I still need to get the Lost Souls book, but I will be ready for Bitter Magic.

When I was reading the first four books in English (and re-reading them in a long time), I was so excited to get to all my most beloved scenes and also meeting all the characters again. Also to get all the details that I forgot. My absolute favourite scene that I could wait to get to is in Forgiven, when the Vatican tests Rily with the Holy Water and the marks of Hell and of Heaven appear on her wrists. And how the hunters are shocked into silence and Stewart knew what he was doing. I could reread that part a hundred times.

Also, with Grave Matters (which I read for the first time) I found out I seem to be the same age as Riley (like on the month, maybe I could get the day?). Also, I loved the drawing a lot. However, grade three demons will always look like hellish Komodo dragons in my mind. That picture of them has been in my head now for over ten years, I think I can’t change that easily.

Anyways, thank you soooo much for this amazing world I have been visiting for a decade now and that I still can come back to new stuff (even though now starting with book six there is a lot to catch up).
I hope my English wasn’t too bad and I could be understood.

Wow, you have been working through the series bit by bit! Thank you!

Sadly, my German publisher only translated the first four books. I'm happy to hear you're able to read the books in English as well. I certainly couldn't do that in Portuguese.

I like the idea of demonic Komodo dragons! I can just see those guys crawling around. That's the cool thing about books is that we all visualize the characters and creatures in our own minds. How I see Riley and Beck or Ori will be differen than my readers and that's the way it should be.

One of my favorite Riley scenes is in MIND GAMES, but I won't spoil it for you. Let's just say she gives some senior UK necros hell for being idiots. Pure Riley.

Bitter Magic (Book #9) is currently in the works and just finished the edit on the second draft. One more and it should be ready for typsetting so I'm on track for this summer. I suspect there will be one more book after that to wrap everything up.

Absolutely love this series. I read this a few years back. Sadly it's hard to read books and I've switched to audio books. Your first book is only in German, any plans for an English version?

Thank you!

Unfortunately, there aren't any plans to do offer the series in audiobook format. Mostly it's due to cost since hiring a talented narrator isn't cheap. (estimated $2K or more per book). And it shouldn't be as they do a fab job.

Who knows, maybe someday, but not quite yet. Sorry!
