 Coimbra, Portugal It's December, time for all those lovely holidays. Here's an update on what this author person has been up to over the last month and what's in store for 2023.
 Angel Miranda do Corvo Cemetery Boy, did the time really did sneak past me. Here’s a quick roundup of why that happened and what’s coming up.  I love autumn/fall so this is my favorite time of year. Sunsets here can be quite dramatic, even without the wildfires. This one was particularly spectacular so I just had to share it with you. There's lots of new stuff going on in my life, including more writing on the latest Demon Trappers book. Here's what's up . . .  Aqueduto dos Pegões Tomar, Portugal  August 2022 As the year flies along, we have reached the hottest temperatures so far. 106F/41C? Really? Luckily that was only one day, and a lot better than some regions of Portugal. The fire hazard is at its peak so we're keeping an eye out for smoke. And I'm spending my time writing and plotting. Here's what's going on, plus pictures to share.  Monastery of Batalha (Mosteiro da Batalha) July 2022 It's July in Portugal which means the flowers are in full bloom, the flies are buzzing, and our garden is generating more lettuce than we can eat. I've been slaving away on author stuff as well, so let's see what's going on.
June 2022  Summer Here We Come I have no idea where the year has gone. June already? Soon I'll be learning what summer is like on the mountain. I'm hoping it's not too hot. And if we're lucky this month our solar panels will be installed. I'm kinda jazzed about those critters.

Welcome to May! Hopefully the weather is cooperating in your part of the world. For us, it's warmer (20C+ / 70F+) and about to get even warmer. April brought us rain, which we needed, as Portugal still has drought conditions in parts of the country. So here's what happening with me, including some book news. Let's dig in . . .
