From Hell with Love A Demon Trappers® Short Story PART FOUR The fiend came to a halt on one of the wide grass strips between the runways, its smirk even wider. The same taunting laughter came Riley’s way now.
As she and her apprentices lined up against the threat, her mind whirled with questions. Who had the kind of power to cloak those Threes and help a Four enthrall all those people? An ArchFiend? Maybe, but even that was a stretch. Fallen angel? That was a possibility. From Hell with Love A Demon Trappers® Short Story PART THREE The demon delicately flipped another page with a frosted pink nail, then looked up at them with cunning eyes. “Blackthorne’s daughter, come join us! We’re almost to the part you love the most.”
From Hell with Love A Demon Trappers® Short Story PART TWO Since the concourse was still open, at least for the moment, Riley knew there was no way they’d get through the screening process with the stuff in their trapping bags. The X-ray machine would absolutely freak out over the steel pipes and Holy Water spheres so she headed for the closest TSA agent. Holding up her trapper’s license, she smiled to break the ice—because every now and then that tactic actually worked.
From Hell with Love A Demon Trappers® Short Story PART ONE Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport
Atlanta, Georgia May 2019 It’d been a day from Hell. Literally. Denver Beck's time as an apprentice Demon Trapper was anything but easy. This time he's deep in Atlanta's metro system facing a wily, and ravenous, Gastro-Fiend.
This is a short story set before the first book in the series. Merry Christmas, y'all! All I Want for Christmas A Demon Trappers® Short Story Chilly December weather drove Riley Blackthorne inside the Grounds Zero. Of course, she never needed an excuse to visit the one coffee shop that served the best hot chocolate in Atlanta. Since they were offering half-price drinks, the place was bustling on Christmas Eve. This short story is set after the fourth book in the Demon Trappers series. If you haven't read that one, this has spoilers GALORE. This story is the counterpoint to the initial conflict between Riley and Beck from the short story IF ONLY . . .
One of the key dynamics in the Demon Trappers series is an event between Riley and Beck that occurred two years before the first book. This is that interaction (I call it the “Riley kicked to the curb” scene) and it sets up their tumultuous relationship. This is why Riley detests him so much, and why Beck really had no other choice.
