Lost Souls Has Launched!

With the exception of the UK paperback, LOST SOULS is now live in print on Amazon and in e-book editions on Amazon, iBooks and Kobo.

The UK print edition was originally hijacked by some Chinese clothing firm that showed the book's front cover but the actual item was a T-shirt. How they pulled that off, I don't know, but it also happened for Books #3 & #4 (FORGIVEN and FORETOLD). According to other authors, this is not uncommon. ::Shrugs:: FORGIVEN and FORETOLD's "T-shirts" have been finally removed and LOST SOULS is currently listed as a genuine print book and supposedly "out of stock". I'm definitely keeping an eye on the situation.

Book series order seems to be mucked up as well, which will require another email to Amazon. Eventually it'll all be settled and then I plan on having a very large whisky (hold the ice!)

My hope is that you enjoy LOST SOULS as much as I did writing it. This book did not fight me, not like some of the series, and so it holds a special place in my heart.

So here's to Simon Michael David Adler, who finally got a story of his very own. It was about time.

Hi Jana,
I just wanted to say how excited I am to read Lost Souls. When I was a young teen, I was handed down the first four books of the demon trapper series by a relative, and I couldn't put them down. Riley, Beck and your writing got me through some tough moments in school.

I'm now 24, and I hadn't discovered the other books in the series until a few months ago. Of course I reread everything and tonight, I just finished Grave Matters and I can't wait to read the others! You're one of my top inspirations as an author and rereading the series has finally pushed me to do some serious writing plans for a concept I've been meaning to do for ages.

Thank you so much for your writing and the amazing world you've created.

Thank you SO much for sharing this with me. Like you, I survived some rough times in high school doing the same. For me, it was an epic journey involving a pair of hobbits toting a cursed ring to Mount Doom. I figured if Frodo and Sam could survive all that, I could just keep going and it'd get better eventually. And it did.

Definitely work on that concept of yours. It might not turn out how you'd expect, but everything you write is additive -- it increases your skill whether you realize it or not. The first four books I started went nowhere. But from then on the stories played out to the end. Color me surprised. LOL

Which reminds -- I've been asked to do some posts related to the craft of writing. Looks like I need to do just that.
